Last updated February 9, 2026

The HEIC converter turns Apple photo uploads into browser-safe formats. You can pick JPEG, PNG, or WEBP output and download the converted file immediately.

iPhone photo exports

Convert `.heic` captures into JPEG, PNG, or WEBP before uploading to CMS media libraries.

Team compatibility checks

Generate browser-friendly image formats for QA reviews and documentation screenshots.

Fast conversion handoffs

Download converted files instantly without installing native desktop converters.

Quick start

  1. Upload a `.heic` or `.heif` file from your device.
  2. Pick an output format (JPEG, PNG, or WEBP) and adjust quality.
  3. Submit to preview the converted image and review metadata.
  4. Download the converted file or copy the data URI for embeds.

Supported inputs

  • Accepts `.heic` and `.heif` files up to 10 MB per upload.
  • Output formats: `.jpg`, `.png`, `.webp`.
  • Quality control (1-100) applies to JPEG and WEBP conversions.

Upload & convert

  • Drag your source file into the upload card (or click to browse).
  • Keep quality near 85 for balanced image fidelity and size.
  • Use PNG when you need lossless output for graphics or UI captures.
  • If conversion fails, verify your host has ImageMagick + HEIC delegates installed.

Output details

  • Preview panel confirms the rendered output before download.
  • Metadata cards show format, converted file size, and dimensions.
  • Data URI output is included for quick embedding in HTML/CSS.

Field notes / Pro tips

  • For general web uploads, choose JPEG or WEBP to reduce payload size.
  • When text or UI edges look soft, switch to PNG and rerun conversion.
  • If HEIC files fail consistently, your server likely needs HEIC support enabled in ImageMagick.
  • Browse the documentation hub for companion image workflow guides.
